ABOUT OUR CLUB


Our Story
Founded in 2006, the Merrill Amateur Radio Group (MARG) is a nonprofit organization based in Merrill, Wisconsin, dedicated to promoting the art and science of amateur radio. Operating under the call sign KB9QJN, MARG supports local and global communication through its 146.640 MHz repeater, which is Echolink connected and Allstar linked for worldwide connectivity. The group hosts regular on-air nets, participates in public service and emergency communications, and actively fosters education and engagement within the ham radio community. Open to newcomers and seasoned operators alike, MARG is committed to serving both hobbyists and the broader community.
